Cooke and Dowsett was founded in 1992 by Scott Dowsett and subsequently restructured in 2008 with new director and owner Chadd Cooke coming on board. The result is a combined 40 years of plumbing expertise and industry knowledge. The company specialises in commercial plumbing, design and construct, project management and all plumbing services. Our clients include many of the 'tier-one' contractors throughout Australia whilst maintaining close and long term relationships with multiple mid-tier contractors. Since its inception Cooke and Dowsett has completed numerous prestigious and innovative projects both on the East and West Coast of Australia. They range from Crown Towers in Melbourne, Hindmarsh Square in Adelaide to Barrow Island in the remote North West. Building on our dedication to the delivery of quality plumbing services, we have experienced continuous growth and now have offices in most Australian states. Our portfolio includes major hospitals, apartment complexes, mine camps, shopping centres, major hotels, prisons, desalination plants and commercial developments. Cooke and Dowsett holds part ownership in NUDJ plumbing, a not for profit organisation based in Broome. NUDJ is committed to the training and development of Indigenous youth. Numerous Indigenous apprentices have been trained at Cooke and Dowsett and have returned to the Pilbara region to improve sanitation, water supply and the mentoring of Aboriginal youth. Cooke and Dowsett's national operation is managed from its head office in Melbourne.
