Embracia Profile and History

Embracia is a well-established residential aged care provider, with aged care homes in Victoria and Queensland. We are owned and operated by the MacKenzie family, an Australian family who have devoted a lifetime to improving aged care so that every resident can live life to the fullest. Dawn and Peter MacKenzie founded Embracia over 30 years ago and have extensive experience innovating and creativ ely developing aged care through many changes. Our Managing Director, Sarah MacKenzie, is a second-generation owner and leads Embracia today. Sarah has spent extensive time working in aged care in Australia and overseas, learning and developing our person-first culture that is at the heart of Embracia's philosophy. Sarah was integral in bringing the Eden Alternative to Australia, and through passion and hard work has dedicated her career to creating aged care where people live meaningful, joyful lives. Sarah is excited to be continuing her family's legacy by developing the most creative aged care homes we have ever built. We lead our team to believe in the importance of every individual's diversity and deliver care that reflects this belief.
